It’s been awhile but I’m back and better than ever and you know why? I looked after myself and took care of myself in all areas.
First Things First
Please let me know how you are doing. I have missed the back-and-forth, laughs, and straight talk with everyone. But I couldn’t come back until I bounced back to the comfortable norm I’m used to.
Since I’ve Been Gone
I said goodbye to a family member I loved with my whole heart, and I said hello to three boys who came into my life and gave me the love and comfort I needed. My kiddos, husband, and I went to Puerto Rico and lived it up for 6 days. Then my husband and I did the unthinkable- well, the unthinkable for us anyway. We flew to Italy and vacationed for 14 days. Everything about our trip was first class all the way.
We started with a first-class flight, then continued our journey by staying at 5-star hotels in Milan, Lake Como, Florence, the Amalfi Coast, and Rome. My husband made this a dream trip for me, and I will never forget it. He booked Private Evening Boat rides, all-day boat rides, wine tasting, and a private dinner in a tower with our own personal chef!
For 14 days I was wined, dined, and spoiled in ways that I didn’t know were possible.

Life is Good
I’m back and feeling recharged, blessed, motivated, and highly dedicated to living the best life that I can. Reconnecting with all of you is the icing on the cake, so please tell me your plans for the weekend and leave me 1 or 50 wonderful things that have happened to you, or things you are looking forward to.
I missed y’all, and thank you all for checking on me while I was away. That was a game changer for my mental health!
You could have chosen any blog to read, but you chose mine, and I’m honored!
~Bella~

Wow, what does your husband do for a living?
He really wowed you with this pampered perfection of a trip!
I don’t remember when we last spoke. Had we already stopped traveling and moved to Orange for work and health care reasons? Anyway, it’s going. Dave likes his job (he says) and we are actively searching for a lake house so that when this temporary gig is over, we will have our own home base and we can get back on the road part-time. The health care stuff is slow and I’m not even sure it’s working. Just trusting God to get me through it. Oh, and speaking of that, we found a wonderful church community and I’m very active in it. 🤗
So glad to have you back, Bella. I’ve missed you! 🩷

I am glad you are back. I missed your posts and your smile! ❤
We are fine, considering our age of 71 and 75, it could be much worse 😉 We are hanging in there with working out and back exercises etc. trying to eat healthy … 😉
